Barcelona Approved On An Ordinary General Assembly, The Financing To Build ‘Espai Barça’ With 405 Votes In Favor And 21 Against

Joan Laporta recently announced one of his biggest projects ever. The Ordinary General Assembly, which was held again on Saturday, approved the financing to build ‘Espai Barça’.

This was one of the main points to discuss this Saturday in Barcelona, the second assembly in less than a week after not finishing on time the one from last Sunday, which took place right before the Valencia game.

The votes unveIled a clear winner. There were 405 votes on favor of building ‘Espai Barça’ to 21 against.

The finances approved include an investment of up to 1.5 billion euros. However, the project doesn’t have the support of the whole club yet.

Laporta promised that this decision will have to be voted by all Barcelona members in a ‘referendum’ that would take place in December according to ‘Cadena COPE’.
